Hello all.

Please note that tomorrow we are planning to review the applications for the
MOU funds that are to be provided by DWP. We only have 10 forms submitted. If
you are planning to submit forms for holiday lighting they should be submitted to
the City Clerk's Office. Please send them as soon as possible for review.

I have attached the application and funding matrix. We have Controller's Office
deadlines for payments in this fiscal year (ends June 30)

A couple of announcements before the end of year:

1. DWP Funding Application:

Per my last email, the funding has slightly changed for DWP. Please see attached
new form for reimbursements. I will get back to you on an official due date, but
the sooner the better. Please do your best to answer the questions on requested
info. If you don't have info on KW/energy saved, no problem. Remember that
this is not for holiday lighting anymore, but any marketing/maintenance
reimbursement. Please let me know if you have questions.

2. Event honoring Lynn Myers: Jan 27, ll:30-l:30p

I'm sure most of you have heard that Lynn has decided to retire at the end
of January, 2015. Congrats, Lynn!

The Fashion District is going to be sending her off in style as she has been
with them for twenty years & at the very beginning of BIDs here in Los
Angeles. Kent wanted me to let everyone know that they are planning an
event for Lynn on Tuesday January 27, 2015 at the California Market Center
between 11:30am -1:30pm. Room TBD but they are planning on serving
lunch buffet style & letting people come & go as they please. Hope to see
everyone there!

In the new year, the Hollywood Entertainment District BID will be
conducting a competitive bidding process for the financial services
agreement.

We are in the process of developing an RFP, which will be released
toward the end of January, but in the meantime, we hope to gather
some candidates (firms and individual practitioners) who may be in a
position to respond to this RFP.

The entire scope of work will be bid out, including the following
general task areas:

Accounts Receivable

Preparation of financial statements

Banking

Payroll

Annual budget preparation (in conjunction with staff)
Tax return

Financial Review (provides back up data to independent
CPA)

Assessment revenue tracking

4. Individual Cigarette Disposal

Thanks to Commissioner Rodriguez, she has secured 200-300 individual
cigarette disposal receptacles (items that people can carry and individually
dispose of their cigarettes as opposed to dropping them on the ground). I
will be coordinating with the City on how to get them and providing an
update at our Jan meeting. But thank you, Commissioner Rodriguez!
